Anthony Luciano, M.D.

Dr. Anthony Luciano is a Full Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UConn School of Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Ob/Gyn, and is Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Dr. Luciano provides patient care as part of UConn Health but works closely with the physicians at the Center for Advanced Reproductive Services. His practice at UConn Health focuses on all aspects of women’s health and surgical care as well as preliminary infertility diagnoses and treatments.

Dr. Luciano graduated from the UConn Medical School. He then went on to complete an Internship at Hartford Hospital. He then returned to UConn to completed his ObGyn residency and REI Fellowship.

Dr. Luciano has done extensive research in Reproductive Biology and Endocrinology and is recognized internationally for his work with non-invasive gyn surgical techniques. He is co­author of a major surgical textbook, Operative Gynecologic Laparoscopy: Principles and Techniques, and a reviewer and editor for numerous professional journals. He is a past president of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) and the Society of Reproductive Surgeons (SRS). Dr. Luciano is the recipient of national and international recognition for his surgical work and research and has received numerous awards for patient care. He continues to lecture nationally and internationally.
